Incredible hole in the wall local restaurant that was recommended to us by the chef at Ka'ana Kitchen in the Andaz. They serve HUGE portions, enough for 2 people to split a plate. My husband and I ordered the mixed plate which came with chicken katsu, fried mahi, teriyaki beef, and teriyaki chicken. Plus two scoops of rice, Mac salad and 2 sauces! So much food. The beef teriyaki was the best of the 4, I'd love to try some of the other pork and beef dishes on the menu next time. Service was quick too - great for an easy simple dinner.

A popular hawaiian food spot with alot of options and big portions make this spot a solid choice. The place is on the smaller side so there is a wait list for inside seating. I prefer takeout and that is usually only 10 mins or so. They have all the hawaiian classics but the combo plates are they way to go. The all mixed up section of the menu has everything I love about hawaiian food in one plate. The mixed plate, da combo and da kitchen bento have 3 items with rice and mac. You can't go wrong with any of these options so if you are near this spot and crave some hawaiian food this is the spot!

What a gem! We loved this place. The staff were so nice and attentive and the food was delicious! Everything was good! This is what we ordered: - Fried musubi: crispy but still tasted like a musubi - Katsu/Kalua mix plate: my favorite on the island! The Kalua pork was so tender, juicy and flavorful. It could be a little salty for some but I liked it. The Katsu was crispy but juicy, not dry like other places. And the sauce it came with was so good, nice thickness and packed with flavor. The potato Mac salad was interesting, not the typical Mac salad but I appreciate the creativity. - Kalbi/korean chicken: the Kalbi ribs were grilled with a nice char, tender, was marinated well and was so flavorful. Definitely the best we've had on the island. The Korean chicken had a nice crisp and wasn't oily. We were pleasantly surprised by how much we liked it. The restaurant is on the small side but has some inside and outside seating. Would definitely come back and highly recommend. Thank you to the staff for making this a great last dinner in Maui!

My wife and I stopped here as we dined at the old location prior to Covid lockdown. Seems the menu is similar but more casual as food is served in to go containers. We waited about 35 min for a table. We ordered: Korean Fried Chicken 4/5: This was real good with a good crunch with a spicy savory sauce drizzled on top. The chicken was still juicy inside. Came with a side of Mac salad, pot sticker and rice. Would order this again. Kahlua Pork and Chicken Katsu Combo 3/5: the Kahlua pork was a bit more salty than we liked without some poi to balance it. The chicken was a bit dry. My wife chose the green salad and rice. Would not recommend this one, as it didn't shine like the KFC. Overall, it doesn't feel like the upscale vibe of the old location by the airport. The KFC was as good as I remembered it, but the KP and Katsu was just ok. We did not try the fried spam this time but recalled it was good pre pandemic.

This was my family's first meal after we landed in Maui - set a real nice tone for our trip! The wait for a table was crazy long and the staff suggested we snag a table outside since those are first come first serve. While it did get hot, we ended up getting the table right away and our food quickly. Our favorite thing was the kalua pork - this was tasty without being overly salty. The fried fish was a hit as well, super crispy and the tar tar sauce was yummy. Overall, not everything was a 10/10 (pass on the garlic shrimp) but it was regardless all decent tasting hawaiian food. Portions are HUGE and we ended up having plenty of leftovers!

This place is hard to find, it's in the corner of a plaza which makes it easy to miss. The portions are very generous. It's mostly Hawaiian food. If you like donkatsu, Korean beef, ahi tuna, and teriyaki chicken you're in the right place. I recommend going hungry if you want to enjoy it. We split 3 dishes amount 4 people and still had leftover. It's mostly takeout, so anything you order will be served in a takeout container. The only complaint I have is that there isn't AC. But other than that, this place isn't too bad.

Awesome, place!! Loco Moco was awesome!! Iced Tea was delicious. Service was outstanding. Cool Menu, great vibe!!

I'm so sad we didn't get a chance to come back! I was going to try to chance it today our last day to get a Togo but lucky I didn't because we almost missed our flight! I did come back for the cheese cake which was delicious! I will most definitely be back when we come to visit again! We came back for the guava cheesecake and slushies!

Took a few friends visiting Maui here and they loved all the local plates they never got to try before! Personal faves are the mixed plate and the noodles with teriyaki chicken, good staple to visit if you want local Hawai'i food! - Miguel Morales Photography

Came here for lunch and I am so glad I did! Iced Macadamia Latte = 10/10. This was absolutely delicious! Beef Teriyaki = 10/10. My daughter said the beef was tender and flavorful. Fried Spam Musubi = 7/10. Not a fan of the breading, but, it was pretty good. Da Lau Lau = 10/10. O M G Hella food! All delicious and highly recommend! Loco Moco = 10/10. My son devoured this. Huge portions as well. Customer service was amazing! Food was delicious! They have outdoor seating as well as inside seating, and we opted to sit outside. The place is small, but clean!
